Nehra Stella


… is a queer artist, mother and filmmaker, who moved from Paris to Berlin, in 2008, which she considers to be her homeland.

In her work she explores gender, sexuality, identity issues, love and relationships, with an ironic, erotic, feminist, queer point of view.
She believes that ART and SEX can change the world.

She directed “Paris la Nuit” in 2009, “Vivre Berlin” in 2013 and “Berlin-Sarajevo” in 2014, together with the artist Natasha Davis and she is right now working on the documentary “LE BEL ANIMAL“ on the Xplore Berlin festival of 2017.

Since few years, she collaborates with Felix Ruckert in various projects, and lead workshop and performance on Gender and BDSM.
She co-curated the program for the Xplore festival in Roma 2017.
In 2018 she directed and performed together with Anna Natt the play space “ The School of Love“ at xplore berlin 2018, and she co-curated the program for xplore Rome, Barcelona and Copenhagen.
